DJ Sabotage (aka DJFM) developed an appreciation for electronica/dance music long before he laid hands on his first pair of turntables and headphones. This musical journey intensified in Canada during the mid to late 90's where he was exposed to observing the technical skills and artistry of local and international DJs. The Edmonton dance/rave scene yielded an "underground" sound that tickled his inner groove. His respect for DJs skyrocketed which in turn sparked an ongoing research to understand the technical aspects as well as what it takes to make a dancefloor move.

After moving to the Philippines towards the end of the Millennium, he found himself constantly searching for that elusive "underground" sound and vibe. In the summer of 2004, DJ Sabotage invested in a pair of AK-1200s and began looking for tracks that he had always wanted to hear.

This quickly stemmed into a part-time career which resulted in several resident gigs in Manila including Club Bed, Flute, and Absinthe Bar. DJ Sabotage has played at clubs and events in Hong Kong, Shenzen, Jakarta, and Singapore and is no stranger to Hong Kong's Volume Bar which is his most frequent international gig destination to date.

DJ Sabotage draws his musical influence from his top list of DJs and producers such as, John Digweed, Stan Kolev, Vortex, Phunk Investigation, and Niaz Arca. His style shifts through a moody blend of percussive and funky melodic House to Progressive, Tribal, Tech, and Electro House.

Always willing to share his passion, DJ Sabotage uses DJ-ing as the perfect means to creatively express himself and explore his love for electronica music.
